A global search for joy led one visionary couple to create a conscious business which not only supports their family but countless others around the world.
Ben and Patty Glennon are the owners of Joy Beans – Organic Coffee Roasters, which supplies ethical organic coffee beans to conscious cafes and retailers around Australia. They are based on the Gold Coast in sunny Queensland, where they also run a cafe serving up their beautiful brews.
It was their quest to experience more joy in life that saw them travel through Hawaii, the Rocky Mountains, California, Central and South America. Their experience working in orphanages inspired them to give back to the people who’d given them so much joy.
Now with two young children of their own, the Glennons donate 10% of their profits to programs that support orphaned and abused children in Columbia, Ethiopia, Mexico, Indonesia and Peru — the same countries from which they source their ethical beans.
Their story is inspiring, and a beautiful reminder of the power of vision and celebrating one another’s strengths to have huge impact in your business.
